What some men have become: re-posting arguments between an anti-feminist website and a feminist website on this forum to demonstrate that the feminists have nothing better to do than start arguments.

You can single out specific things about her arguments that are flawed, but you shouldn't be surprised when your platform of anti-feminist propaganda comes under fire from feminists.

You know that one crazy guy who had that one crazy dream once? How he said "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere?" I guess injustice doesn't matter if its happening to men.

That's right, folks. An attempt to engage a fellow human being in intelligent conversation is, apparently, a lowly attempt to self-promote and gain traffic on a blog I could care less about. Furthermore, writing for the Spearhead automatically makes a person a rapist and an abuser. I remember in "the good old days" when you had to actually have sex with someone to be a rapist - thank goodness the modern era is much more convenient and allows virgins like myself the privilege of raping and abusing people by encoding binary data over an ethernet cable for the digestion of the internet audience!

I don't remember celebrating any murdered females or abused wives here or at The Spearhead - can anybody quote a post where I did that to jog my memory? If so, I'll gladly turn myself into the brig authorities and serve some jail time.

At least she said one thing that was factual - men currently ARE the most low-class humans alive. This is an injustice and inequality I hope to help fix!

Maybe I misunderstood what you're saying on the spearhead and all the stuff you've had me read lately.

On a side note I totally know Rosina Lippi-Green which you quoted in this article http://www.the-spearhead.com/2010/0...guage-ideology/ It's weird when you run across people online that you actually know.

edit: actually I'm pretty sure you know her too so maybe it wasn't as much of a coincidence as I thought.

Misunderstandings happen when language ideologies dominate our ways of thinking. I could be using a word and intend definition A, but you understand that word as having definition B, and because I never clarify and/or you never ask, you assume a meaning I did not intend and miscommunication results.

To throw in my own two pieces of whatever...

if one is seeking to campaign for equality then one-sided camps championing "Men's Rights" or "Women's Rights" or decrying the unfair treatment of just men or just women are self defeating. Why not join or start a blog that discusses the abuse and defense of both men's and women's rights? Trying to pretend that only one group of people is being bent over the table in a country as large and complex as ours is a little silly. If you allow yourself to widen your gaze a little you'd be willing to recognize that discrimination and unfair treatment befall all groups in our country to at least some degree and as someone who believes in the importance of equality... any amount of discrimination or unjust treatment is unacceptable. Therefore shouldn't we seek to unify and advance the progress of Human rights?
