Beings as Ender killed my mouse last week, I've had to replace it. It was a tossup between the latest Microsoft Intellimouse, and Logitech's newest. I started out as a Logitech fanboy until they redesigned their mice so the buttons don't stretch to the front end of the mice, which didn't fit my huge hands. This revision, however, feels much more comfortable to me than Microsoft's offering, which extended a little too far to the right for my liking, as I use my pinky for "mouse stabilization".
Subjectively speaking, this mouse feels a little smoother than my previous Intellimouse 3.0 (which Ender killed), and it feels easier to control. The wheel has plenty of tactile feedback, which Microsoft's latest offering lacked entirely (another key point in the rejection), and for the first time I think I may actually start using the mouse wheel for weapon switching. Previous mice generally didn't have the resistance needed making accidental switches and over-switches common.
All and all, I'm very happy with the mouse and I give it 5/5 afros.

Please do. As for how he killed my old mouse...he used his secret mind power energy beam of death. He was upset that I'm clearly superior to him in every game we ever play, so he desperately tried to even the odds by crippling me.
He's a bastard, that Ender. Pure evil.

You just had to outdo me huh? BB didn't have the 510 in stock when I got my mouse... so I had to go with the 500.

This mouse is just so much better than the 500, btw. I mean...it's better in every possible way imaginable. Anyone who bought the 500 really wasted their money. I mean...might as well burn it.
But, now that I think of it, you're probably better off with that little model. The 510 is too much for someone like you to handle. ;)

Back to the review . . . lol
I just purchased the same mouse as Dave because at the LAN my current wireless wasn't serving me very well. So, now at home I have the 510 (red, like Dave's. Very cool) and my wireless plugged in. I use my logitech for gaming and stoof, and I use my microsoft wireless for movies :D
I am also incredibly happy with my new mouse. It is probably the best one that I have felt, it's comfortable and fits my hand nicely, it's buttons are in positions where I actually use every button, not just the two main ones. The mouse wheel has a nice amount of resistance, and the thumb buttons are good. The buttons above and below the mouse wheel make scrolling up and down even nice, and I think I might bind one of them to the Shield Cannon :D :D
I think I give this monkey Five out of five :rup: :rup: :rup: :rup: :rup:

Homeslice = hypocrite

See Hypocrisy.] One who plays a part; especially, one who, for the purpose of winning approbation of favor, puts on a fair outside seeming; one who feigns to be other and better than he is; a false pretender to virtue or piety; one who simulates virtue or piety.
The hypocrite's hope shall perish. --Job viii. 13.
I dare swear he is no hypocrite, but prays from his heart. --Shak.

Honestly though, I can't get over this mouse. All five of the extra buttons are in places where I can actually use them comfortably, and I do on a regular basis. Most other mice you have to shift your hand's position to use special buttonsez. This mouse is just too w00t. . .

How the heck do you use the 2 buttons below the wheel? I'd say they are not easy to use.

I don't know, the way my hand rests on it makes it really simple, they're just right there. I dunno, maybe my hand is like. . .way trippier than yours, but whatever.
Keep on tranglin'. :woot:
