BLE APRIL IS UPON US! Mother's protect your daughters! Fathers protect your sons! The innocence has been released into the wild and the LAN of LANs is come! :D

Any and all other related info (and to sign up (http://www.bellinghamlan.com/lan_events.php?s=)) or specifics can be found here (http://www.bellinghamlan.com/lan_events.php?s=).

TELL YOUR FRIENDS, TELL THE WORLD, BLE IS HERE! :woot: Download BLE's official Flyer for April here (http://www.bellinghamlan.com/Flyers/BLEAPRIL.pdf).

Cha-cha-Changes!
It's a sad thing for some, but a necessary thing to be sure. If you happen to get a ride to the event (from a family member or anyone who is not also attending the LAN) then you will not be allowed to stay any longer than Midnight.

Game of the Hour!
This Lan introduces BLE's Game of the Hour Prizes! How it works:
Simply be found playing the designated Game of the Hour when it is the time to play that game! BLE Staff will be watching and playing in the games of the hour and prizes will be handed out to people who participate! It's that simple! So with that in mind, here are the games of the hour to be played at this LAN:
CoD
WC3
CS
DC
RvS
UT2k4
BF V
That's them! Of course you're welcome to play any game you want anytime, but to increase your chances of getting cool st00f, then be caught playing one of these games during it's designated time! You can only win once, however, but hopefully that won't discourage you from continuous play of these games. Having everyone in the same game is a blast! So play BLE's game of the hour and win!

Dinner Giveaways
In the past during dinner we usually have random drawings and hand out prizes. We are going to incorporate something new this time to encourage comraderie and goofiness-all at the same time. Here's how it will work:
I will stand up and hold a prize and then shout out, "The first person who can give me a copy of Windows 95 will get this prize!" Naturally I put something in there that I won't be asking for...however I have a huge list of things to ask for, some from PC people and some from XBOXers as well. So bring random stuff just in case and have it ever ready!
This little ditty will replace our drawings, though we may still two one or two. However the same rules apply, you can only win once, and the game of the hour winners aren't eligible either - so as to give everyone a better chance to win something. However if you have already won something but endeavor to help someone else win a Dinner Giveaway, we will put your name in the Grand Door Prize Drawing a second time! Your name can only be in the twice at a maximum...but it will behoove you to help your fellow LAN-ers win!

Chairs
We have allowed for more people this LAN (4 more xbox and 10 more PC) but our building capacity is at a max for supplies (such as tables and chairs). We will be able to supply the tables needed but not the chairs. Therefore, if you have your own chair and are able to bring it please please please do so. We need at least 10 people, possibly more, to bring their own chairs. Probably 15 just to be safe. This is so more people can have BLE fun so help out a fellow gamer and bring your own chair!

Tournaments
Our tournaments are still in the works, but the famous BLE Triathalon will be making a return this LAN for sure! Stay tuned as you will likely see a thread on the boards here about it just before the LAN.

Hope you all can make it! It's going to be a blast so be there!

why do you keep ignoring inquiries as to a possible PoE beta test at the LAN?

It's an amateur mod...not the Manhattan Project. ;) :p I don't want to step on your toes or anything but some word or update would be nice. :rup: After all, I gave EA $40 just so I could play your mod...I don't care for the stock game itself...

I think that this lan will benefit greatly if there are more pictures of my sexy body. There was 1 pic of me from the last lan and it wasnt too pretty. If more people saw how damn good looking i was people would flock to this lan and we would have to bar up the doors to prevent overcrowding.

I'm not a big fan of this. I try to bring as little as possible to the LAN so I don't have to cary as much stuff. And if you call out something common like a Battlfield 1942 disk you will have a mad stampeed of people tring to me the first one to give it to you. How do you decide who wins? The people closest to you will have an advantage if you give it to the first person that can reach you. Or I can hear it already, 10 people yelling "GOT IT!" at the same time, as they start diging in their back pack.

Hmmm, I am somewhat in agreement. . . I was a little disappointed to hear that you guys are cancelling the dinner giveaways. . . but I am going for the games, not prizes, so giveaway away. :D (<< did that make any sense?)

Most people do, and certainly the list won't have the truly abstract nor the everyday junk.

It's something we'd like to try, but we're not committing ourselves to a lifelong campaign of this =).

Might want to bring a baby kangaroo, nuclear core, and a can of vegimite, btw

I don't have the nuclear core, per se... but how about dozens of Weapons of Mass Destruction related programs?

I dontlike this one either, I think we should stay with the random drawings, that way everyone has a fair chance. With this... whatever you wanna call it... people who bring alot of stuff will have an advantage. Unlike me, who doesnt bring much... I vote we stay with radnom drawing.

Stumanji

Ender's probably writing everything down that we're mentioning so when the drawing comes, he'll say, "Who has a a ditry q-tip, a cough drop with cat hair stuck to it, a popscicle stick, and a pull tab from a pop can?"

Verbal
04-21-2004, 12:36 AM
I think it might be things like "whoever can bring me five empty pop cans" or "whoever can bring me a wireless mouse" and stuff like that. It'll probably be stuff that we can most likely collect/steal from people around us right there in the LAN placey thingy.
