-Funny how only 3 other people posted in the intro but figured I should.

I moved up here in June of 2011, and have since been quite bored with the lack of activities of Bham. Moving from Redmond/Sammamish area where there were quite a few places to go, I was a little lost after moving here.

Anyways.... since I don't go to school and no current job :eek: I have been trying to find people to game with. (Never though of searching online "bellingham lan lol). I have huge interests in gaming/electronics/cars so I'm getting a little nutty not having much access to those here.

On to the facts: 20.5 years old, living with my girlfriend, and I sadly don't know too many people in bellingham :no:

Currently pc games are, Bf3.....uhh.... mmos? most of my friends don't have gaming rigs so I am online on a console more often. But I also am a racing fanatic (forza 4) -and I hate it when people run into me on purpose! lol- and play pretty much anything else...

Welcome to the club. Traditionally BLE is about the PC games, but most of Us have consoles, too. My litmus test for you, though, is whether you have BF3 on the PC or console?

Both actually lol. Got bf3 for xbox primarily for friends, and pc version to get the awesome experience only found on the pc. Though I find it frustrating on the pc without having the ability to chat with the squad, kinda ruins some of the fun. Sad part of this though, all but one friend of mine stopped playing bf3 on xbox :slant: So this is where I have been left wanting to find a lan nearby...

You can post your bf3 info with a link to your battelog page. Here is Malice for example:

Hrm, I just looked at your posting times. Do you not sleep? Are you some sort of robot?

Hahahaha..... you got me :biggrin: Nah, I have issues sleeping. It's actually getting better now (I used to only fall asleep around 4-6am, now I can sleep around 12am). But I hardly ever get more than a few hours of sleep, and I feel well rested and full of energy with just a few hours. It's strange, idk lol. I even tried some herbal 'sleepy' tea and exercising a few hours prior, but nothing works.

Do you play any other PC games?

I don't actually use Vent, went with skype some time ago, but I can give it a try. Yeah, the other (online) I play are mostly mmo's (f2p at that), like Vindictus -which is getting boring- Pangya -if you've never heard of it, imagine Tiger Woods golf, but with Korean anime char and crazy powers lol, it's a great time killer. I usually alternate between some others -like APB, or project blackout- with my friends. But other than that, I don't do a whole lot of online gaming, usually just the few games listed. Offline, I havea bunch, anything from Dirt3, JustCause2, DE:HR, to Skyrim.
Currently into (Xbox): FF13-2, Soul Calibur 5 (which I guess could be online, but haven't tried yet...), Forza4 and Bf3
PC: Skyrim and Bf3

*I tend to write a lot, so bear with my long posts. Writing a book so I'm used to typing a whole lot.

BF3, good... APB, I couldn't get into it too much.

If you're low on cash looking for a good F2P Team Fortress 2 is an excellent choice. It's fairly skill based, comical and you don't have to pay to win. The upgraded weapons aren't super weapons, they just change how you play, instead of boosting your ability to play.

Your rig is pretty nice and it will fit right in ;)

From what I gather most of us here play Battlefield 3, Dungeon Defenders & Team Fortress 2. A few play Skyrim as well.

What are you used to doing for fun? We might be able to recommend a couple cool places in Bellingham since you're new.

Yeah, APB is more of a "let's mess with other people during their missions and laugh a lot" kinda thing lol.

Pangya is very addictive, defiantly had those now Skyrim-defined moments of "whoa! it's already 5am?"

Fun? haha... looking for a job :no: usually find me on my computer, or working on my cars. Other than that, I used to airsoft, but getting people together was always a hassle and my gun started collecting dust. Have a serious lack of $ as of late, so working on my cars came to a halt, as well as anything else requiring extra money.

I've played both. Shot Online was nice for a while but they kinda screwed with it with some of the patches. To me its borderline pay to win now... as the repair costs for the gear are astronomical compared to what you get even playing Cads. It would have taken me a whole week just to get my Tornado Irons back up and working.

Pangya is an ok game, but for my personal taste its a little too anime themed. The special spell shots got a bit ridiculous too.
