Lynden Lan 2

Hey guys, since I gave a little short notice, and It is Halloween weekend, We are going to shoot for the lan party this next comming Friday, November 6th.

We are going to be doing COD 4 tourny for PC 4v4 TDM. For Xbox we are doing 4v4 COD 4&5 also, going to be doing some 1v1s.

Its a bring your own Tower/xbox we will supply the internet line. Its just a test so please if anyone has free time we would love for you to come.

The Address is 317 Front street in Lynden, its the old sal-vation armry building.

Set up time will be from 6:00-8:00 then live at 8:00 pm. The tourny will go from 8-12:00 then we are doing FFA after that. If anyone wants to stay past 2:00 we will go all night :)

On one hand, I don't want to sound like a nay sayer, but on the other, I don't want to leave this thread hangin like we're ignoring you.

Lynden is way out of the way for me as I don't drive and have to bum rides to LAN's as it is.

Additionally, COD4 keeps my attention for an hour tops. I think one of the things that's great about BLE is that we aren't particularly competative in any one game, and vary our games frequently. Packin up the compy for just COD4 leaves me quite disinterestd. And Infernalan this month drains my interest in other lan gaming.

However, I don't speak for everyone here, and I know there are others much more into COD4 than myself, so hopefully they'll crawl out of their holes and respond.

i won't be going either, i can't justify lugging my computer to a lan for one game :( or just a few hours of play.

i wish you guys the best though! you should put up flyers at western and btc if you haven't already. there are 'free posting' boards that you can just tack stuff up to. also if you have a western student in your group have them post on the viking union forums.
