You might be wondering what the heck these ge-golly new forums are doing on BLE's boards! Well guess what! Here are some answers!
What is Bellingham Game Fest?
It's a LAN party! A big one! 200+ people! We're also going to have a console section for people that are illiterate and don't know how to use a keyboard and mouse. Check out our website at http://gamefest.bellinghamlan.com

Day: January 24th through the 25th
Time: 9am till 3am the next day!

What's a LAN party?
A LAN party is when a bunch of people bring their computers near each other so that they can scream in the other person's ear instead of corpse-humping/defiling the other person's corpse ala Halo3.
So there's going to be 200 people in the same room screaming at each other while playing Halo3?
Oh good fucking lord I hope not. I hope everyone is screaming while playing a respectable game like TF2, CS:S, or Gears of War.
Are there going to be tournaments?
Of course! There should be a tournament thread somewhere on these forums for you to chime in on which tournaments are offered. There's going to be 3 PC tournaments and 3 console tournaments. The prizes might not be that good, but the bragging rights are always supreme.
Is there a cost to attend?
Augh! Our fee-schedule is borked!
Bringing your own computer: $20 prepaid, $25 at the door
Renting a computer from GameConX: $25 prepaid, $30 at the door
Consoles: $10 prepaid; $15 at the door
Surprise! All students get an extra $5 off when they show their Student Card at the door! If you prepaid we'll just give you $5.
It's important to note here that our intentions with any money we raise will be be for the benefit of Child's Play Charity. So if you take your $5 at the door, you're liable to look like a gigantic douche bag.
