The card may rock, but with ATI's crappy drivers good luck actually getting it to work at full performance...

yeah, my first gaming card was an ATI and i had the worst time with it. Hopefully these cards will make Nvidias cheaper!

ATI has always been a good company, just in a slump lately. My next videocard will likely end up being a 4870 or similar. Price/performance (and now performance too, lol) AMD/ATI cannot be beat.

Also, who could forget what the 9700 and 9800 Pro videocards (and the 3D Rage II!!) did to gaming!? Show some respect!

we've been building several ati based 4850, 4870, and 4800 series crossfire machines at work and so far have seen nothing but positive results. My only real concern is how their multimonitor support has been hit or miss in crossfire, but considering nvidia has been an entire miss for the whole multigpu game, i'm inclined to let it slide. (yes i know about big bang 2 in september)
