Dude... that is SOO out of my control. You see how well your equilibrium does after a high speed snowboarding accident which involves cutting off the top quarter of your ear, perforating your eardrum, and an untreated concussion! Then add in a few years later blowing your eardrum from diving too fast. My right ear causes me sooo many problems.

When I lived in Cali I would go out on weekends spearfishing. I have a nice 22" Explorer with dual hook tip and a 20" with single hook. I'd go out and get Calico Bass. MmmM!!! I'd paddle out a mile on my kayak and tie into the kelp patties. Swim around them and follow the fish.

But actually, the way I screwed up my ear was trying to unstick a stuck anchor. My cousin tried first but couldn't go down far enough. So I took a deep breath, jumped in, and climbed down the rope really fast without equalizing. I didn't realize how deep I had gone(20ft) and then all of a sudden I had an extremely sharp pain in my ear.
