Go ride the trails at Galbraith Mountain.

Walk/bike the Interurban Trail out to Larrabee Park and back.

Explore Lookout Mountain (just south of Galbraith).

Check out a sunset at Boulevard Park.

Go to the Night Light (when you're older).

Go to the Boundary Bay Brewery (great atmosphere anytime, even if you can't drink).

Spend a couple hours wandering around Fairhaven.

Explore all the nooks and crannies at Western and look for interesting places (might I recommend the nook in the northeast corner of the second floor of the Environmental Sciences Building?)

Join the campus Capture the Flag club, if it still exists.

Go to musical events (fliers are never in short supply around campus)

Go to the weekly free movie showings if they're still doing it (ask around or look for fliers).

Hang out in the library and read stuff.

Find out who in your dorm plays games and organize informal matches on Saturdays when the dorm network is relatively free of traffic.

Go skiing at Mount Baker.

Go to the Outdoor Center and see if they're doing anything cool soon that you can get in on.

Make friends with girls in your classes and offer to help them study (you will never have this easy of an excuse to make conversation with girls again, trust me - well, assuming you're like me and are better with books than with the female species.)



That should get you started.
