Are there many people here who've used this yet? I have a favor to ask, or at least if someone would be kind enough to show me. :)

The map: DM-Gestalt

What I want: A blue print of the map showing the spawn points for players, weaps, p-ups etc. A birds eye blueprint of the map as well. :)

I dunno...does it give you an error message? I just opened it up on my system, and it worked fine...

Here's a blueprint from the birds eye perspective.

There's really not a lot I could do to improve it...I could zoom in and split it up among 4 pictures, but it's going to be just as hard to gain any insight on it.

ah...maps a little too big then. Well, I'll see if I can get in there and then just break it up into sections and photoshop it a bit to make it fit in a whole 'big picture', metaphorically speaking. :)

Really...the best way to see how the map is constructed is going to be to open it in UnrealEd. If you can't open up UT2k4 maps, maybe try 2k3 maps until we can get you squared away.

well basically I want to be able to post pics of it and stuff to show people where stuff is and the best way to get to it, where the best 2v1 or 3v2 possibilities are and stuff. I'll get on it and see if I can make it work...prolly on wednesday. :rup:

I'd say your best bet would be to study the layout in UED and then actually draw a map. Most 2k3/2k4 maps are so complicated, you can't really tell much from looking at the entire map at once in UED. Unlike, say, a top-down view of StalwartXL. :p
