“Atheism has become very popular in universities – where it's taught that we evolved from animals and that there are no moral absolutes. So we shouldn't be surprised when there are school shootings.” - Kirk Cameron
And he can take his "partner" (if you know what I mean) with him.
You see, Ray Comfort, the other guy in the banana youtube we all know and love, has had it with all the Christianity hate.
"Most people equate atheism with intellectualism," explained Comfort in a statement.
So he's challenging two athiests in a "scientific debate" on God, claiming to be able to prove God exists without using the Bible.
As someone who is apparently interested in intellectualism and science, who do you think he's picking...respected scientists? Book authors on the subject? Established public speakers in such matters?
Hah hah hah, you thilly goothe. That's what I was thinking when I first read this too, I was actually excited, it sounded like a cool event! But, alas, we would both be making the mistake that this is supposed to be anything even remotely legitimate.
Here's how he picks who he wants to go up against.
The debate is in reaction to the “Blasphemy Challenge” that started late in 2006. The two creators of the movement encouraged all people to tape themselves with a short message that will “damn themselves to hell.” Participants must recite the line "I deny the Holy Spirit,” and then upload their video onto YouTube.
And from there, out of the hundreds/thousands of submissions, they pick who they want to go up against.
"Most people equate atheism with intellectualism," explained Comfort in a statement.
Apparently his goal here is to prove that it's possible to both be an Athiest and a FUCKING NIMROD IDIOT JACKOFF LOSER!
Well, he's right. I, on behalf of all reasonable minded athiests around the world, acknowledge that it's possible for an athiest to be a complete moron.

They get harder to find because it tends to be that the less education you have, the more likely you are to believe in creationism, but oh...they're there. And if you wanted to find them, having people upload videos on YouTube of them "denying the holy spirit" is a perfectly good way to find them.
