First and foremost.
Myth: Ender is scared of DiscoDave in 2k3's Rocket Arena. :D
Fact: Ender is NOT scared of DiscoDave in 2k3's Rocket Arena.
Just had to clear that up. ;)
More likely, it's the other way around. ;)
ok, now that we've got those out of the way...
Myth: LANs are only fun if there are tons of people and tons of servers playing tons of games.
Fact: LANs are totally fun in many ways. The above is true, however, if they are small, people all tend to play the same games. So as each game is played, different people are good, and different people are n00bs. What makes it fun is that most everyone is a n00b at some point or another, and therefore the playing field is generally level. The other thing about smaller LANs is that you tend to get to know everyone a lot better, and those kinda atmosphere's are totally the best.
However: LANs are very fun in large groups. So, TELL YOUR FRIENDS! LET'S FILL THIS THING UP! (note: there's 30 seats available, 14 taken)

Fact: Anything in life is only boring if you choose it to be that way. :P
LAN parties are a blast! For a pretty affordable price, you can come hang out with some cool peeps, play the latest and not so latest games on a low ping network, frag your buddies, talk some trash, eat lots of unhealthy food, and have a great time! And even win a prize if luck is with you!
And our specific goal with these parties, meaning the only reason we bothered throwing them in the first place, is to give the attendees the best time possible! We try that with plenty of gaming action, wacky off the wall tournaments (can't wait for the BF go-karts!), and good natured competition.
Myth: Gaming for 12+ hours gets tiring and not fun anymore.
Fact: :stare:
You'd be surprised at how fast time will fly by and you wish for more when it's over! There are so many games to be played, so much fun to have, you'll never want to stop! You'll fight sleep to keep gaming!
Myth: Ender is losing his mind
Fact: Actually, that isn't too far from the truth. After all, the greatest geniuses of this planet all went there now and again. ;)
Seriously folks. We want to give you all a great time, and keep these parties up! We love throwing them, and love gaming, and know you do to! So round up ye olde comrades and come fraggin!
