This was written in my mysapce blog, so keep in mind the audience was a little different.
Devin starring in a hollywood movie!
Well, so that a slight exaggeration...But, somewhat true...possibly.
Background: Last Thursday a movie producer visited the pool as a possible place to film a couple segments of his movie. Apparently this guy grew up in the area and has written a script about a Bellingham Highschool swimmer aspiring to go to the Olympics or sumthin like that. Anyways, he is checking out local pools for a possible place to film the movie.
Now, this isn't some "B" level movie or film festival project. This is an honest to god Hollywood movie with some hefty names in it. I don't know much but, the mother of the swimmer is Sigourney Weaver and the Gf is that girl form the Princess Diaries. Google says that was Anne Hathaway.
Anyways, if our pool is chosen which is likely since it's the best pool in the area they'll be looking for male swimmers about my age to be extras/possible body double if the guy sucks at swimming. So, I'm hella stoked to see how this turns out.
