What is your favorite character(s) on Soul Calibur II?
(Link, Spawn, and Heihachi included)
Mine are:
Nightmare :D
Yoshimitsu (Deathcopter! MUHAHAHAH!)
I would do a poll, but you can only do 10 options maximum, and theres 20 characters you do the math...

I just bought it for gamecube, so I'll tell you the names of my favorite characters tonight. ;)
I'd offer an official challenge against you, but I already did that and I don't want to be repetative and I don't want to be repetative and I don't want to be repetative.
Forgot to get the extra controller, though. :grumpy:

Any of the chics except Ivy. :naughty: Mostly the viking style girl...can't remember her name, and the Japenese girl with the two blades...can't remember hers either.
I also like playing the guy that has the staff. :woot:
Sweet game btw...:rup:

Hehehe, i suppose that means ill have to bring my pimpin platinum gamecube and platinum controller. And Ender, i think you are reffering to Talim (japanese girl with 2 blades) and cassandra (not sure if that her name, thats what comes to mind, she has a sword and shield) and i think the guy with the staff is Kilik (not sure about that one, but my friend uses him constantly, he has almost as much range as Nightmare, so i have to really try when i fight him as Nighty O_O)
Since you have it, this means i wont have to relearn it on the xbox yay! bring it to the party on saturday >_< I'll bring my stuff too.
This is, imo, the best fighter out there. I've been playing this series for a long time. We used to go the arcade and play when it was Soul Edge. Then they released a version for the Playstation called Soul Blade. I think there might have been two different arcade versions under the same name. When I was in college Soul Calibur was released for the arcade and Dreamcast. I have Soul Calibur II for the playstation, but wish I had a Gamecube so I could play as Link, as he can do some pretty cool stuff with the bow , bombs, and boomerang.
I mostly play as Cassandra, because I used to play as Sophitia in the older versions. Kilik is tight with the staff, and he has a similar fighting style as Seung Mina from the older versions. All in all, it's a lot of fun to play against a few friends taking turns. There are some cool features in the SCII, like the ability to purchase weapon demos, and concept artwork, different outfits, etc.
Good attempt at a decent single player campaign too. Although, it gets kinda tough. :)

Okay, my favorite character is Mitsurugi followed by Cervantas for his double-blade Ender-Slam.

You'll hate him even more after a few body slams. ;)

IVe had that pulled on me before, although, when i completely master Yoshimitsu, i should be able to beat anyone, i gotta buy this game... but then again, with me as Nighty you wouldnt be able to get close enough for a body slam. :hump:

Cervantes has a couple uber-quick attacks that he can use from long distance. ;)
And you should have seen me and Ender battle it out last lan. I was using Cervantes and the fight went like this:
Fight starts.
I hit him with a double-blade body slam.
He gets up.
I hit him with a double-blade body slam.
He gets up.
I hit him with a double-blade body slam, dumping him off the edge of the map.
I win.

Omg... thats pretty lame, and Ender, do you know how to roll to the side when getting up? and you should be able to kick him as he comes at you if you have proper timing.

Key words, there. ;)
Heheh, in his defense, it was only his first or second day playing it, I think. Not that I was any better, and indeed he kicked my ass pretty good some matches as well.

I do REALLY well with Spawn. Haven't played it in months so I don't know who my second choice would be.

Yoshimitsu was always my favorite character from the Tekken games (I hit someone with deathcopter practically every match) and also the good ol' combo of his somersault kick that sends them straight up + the poison breath. Good stuff. I've never played Soul Calibur though. :o
