Most of you are probably aware of Child's Play, a charity run by Penny-Arcade that gets games and gaming devices into the hands of children stuck in hospitals. These are kids that, in many cases, will never leave the hospital. What do you think most kids would prefer...to spend their time twiddling thumbs, or playing Mario Tennis?
I agree.
It's also worth noting that this is not like most other charity...every dollar that goes into it goes to the hospitals. There are no "administration costs"...at least not costs that are taken out of donations meant for the kids.
A lot of you don't really have all that much (if any) money. But if you do, consider using some of it to help others. And then send the rest to me. ;)
BLE has donated $100 to Child's Play this year. I wonder if you guys can double that.

BTW, I am going to donate $10. 10 more of you fools donate $10 and that will be $100. 100 is 1/2 of 200, which is double 100 = win vs dave.

I'd donate, but I'm pretty sure giving financial aid money to charity would be a bit ineffectual, seeing as how all the money I have goes towards paying off my loans after I'm out of school. :(
