Bellingham LAN Experiment - BLE October Signups Open

Signups for BLE October are officially open (http://www.bellinghamlan.com/lan_events). While I'm still hoping for a Cable Internet access line, at the very least we'll be using ClearWire for outside access.

And to apologize for last month's lack of Internet access, this lan is my gift to you...it's completely free. BLE pays for rent, food, drink, and the tournament prize ($30 at EB), you just come and collect the bounty.

Yes, that was $1400 all gone in 1 week. Thanks though. Would you like to donate to the Ghrog® Fund too? It is selling grade B bonds for $1000 to pay for next quarter.

yes, but incase you missed what Shadow was alluding to, I couldn't come to the previous lan in September because of lack of monies on hand. For some reason he thought this was funny and decided to bring it up or some other assinine thing. Cool by me.
This goes with out saying I should get a job so I can help off-set the cost of next quarter.
Or sell junk bonds.
Whatever.

All donations are much appreciated, but I'm not going to sell off gigabit ports.

If I do get a bunch of donations, I may get a second gigabit switch meaning the top 14 people would get in, but I'm not promising anything. The event is going to cost around $300 to run. Adding $100 worth of switches on top of that is....probably not a bright financial move on my part. ;)
