im not gonna get into an argument about whether its good or not, considering all we have are descriptions, screenshots, and an E3 video... but why do you think it looks dumb?

It's a GTA ripoff, which is dumb 1) because it's a ripoff 2) because GTA is dumb 3) the graphics look phonier and more plasticy than DOOM3 and 4) did I mention gangster games take close second to being as idiotic as ganster music? Honestly, how could play being a thug and taking control of a city via thugness be fun?

But yeah, we're all entitled to opinions. Have fun with it. :)

and qs, the lead guy for RE 4 left capcom when it was announced that RE4 would come out on ps2, and the guy that took over the team plays to the highest bidder, so Nintendo will get left out unless they (capcom/re team) decide they like the idea of the new setup (revolution) and want to play with it, just like they are with the DS version of RE that is being worked on right now.

fair enough. iv enjoyed the GTA series myself, this looks to one up it. i dont mind the phony graphics, maybe theyll deter people believing the psychos blaming killings on games like it. GTA wasnt a shiner in the graphics department either ;) Anyways, like i said. You stated your opinions, good reasons. I stated mine, my reasons (good or bad). You wont be buying it, i will :)

and QS, yeah, graphics are a large part of what sells. Its the easy way to create hype before letting anyone actually touch your game, by releasing drool-inducing screenshots, and jaw dropping videos. I personally dont care whether the graphics are next gen or not, its just a plus on top of what seem to be good core games.

Reading the previews for each one, just about the NPCs/AI (did i mention that Elder Scrolls might actually get me to play an RPG for an extended period of time?), physics engines, gameplay "innovations" (eh, new crap might not be innovations, but they can sure add new stuff that make playing the game more fun.) are what make me really want these games.

See, in my case, im am shelling out every doller microsoft demands for that console. I think that it has a solid line of game producers backing them, unlike they did at the xbox launch.\
Mostly, Perfect dark Zero makes me wet my pants. I loved the first perfect dark, played every level like 20 times, just cause i could and becuase it was fun. I really can't wait for it either. Second. HALO 3! RE and i think FF (am i off here? is that just a rumor) It just does not seem Ps3 could back the console with thoses type of producers

so today i preordered an Xbox 360, 3 wireless controllers (to be dropped later, theyre just there to get a little higher on the priority list), Perfect Dark Zero, and Frame City Killer (still out on this one, might get it, might switch to a different game)
