www.lanpartynw.com has been down ALL day. Anyone know whats up? did they DIE? are we the only gig in town now!!!!?

Their page has always been rather unreliable...one of the big things Ender and I wanted to do differently: spend a bit more and get a reliable and fast webpage and forum.

also their stuff was never real inviting. I found their page before I was involved here, and I didn't even take more than one glance even though I was looking for a local LAN.

Yeah I live in bellingham and am only a 10 minute drive away from our lan. I would never go all the way to everett... Plus our lan only costs 15 bucks!!! Theres costs 25.. It would have to be a damn good lan for me to spend that much on it.... call me cheap :D

I love BLE and I will be at the next LAN. But I think I might check out lanpartyNW this weekend. A month is a long time between LANs. ;)

For me its not much farther to drive than Bellingham is.

lol GDFest is in Bellvue, 20 bucks gets you in with 500 people... I got my 9700 Pro there as a doorprize, and placed third (in my heat) for UT2k3. Tourney winner walked home with a top of the line machine from ABS (as did winners of the other two tourneys)

How up to date is their games played list? I don't own a copy of half life anymore. So no counterstike for me.

They've generally been a big CounterStrike lan, but apparently they've crossed over into a lot of UT2k4. I haven't been to either of their two previous lans, so I don't know for sure, it sounds like they're moving away from CounterStrike.

Yea. I do too. I have to hit refresh 3 times whenever I try and do anything. But at least they changed the text and background colors to something I could read.
