This is the Jim Carrey movie, with Kate Winslet, Elijah Wood, and Kirsten Dunst.
I don't really wanna talk about the movie much, as I think the less you'll know about it the more you'll like it...and it's sorta hard to explain anyway.
Jim Carrey stars as a bit of a loser who's intimidated by women. He meets an Winslet, who's a bit of an oddball at best, and their relationship is set off. Unfortunately, things don't work out for the two, and Winslet's character.....well, lets just say she finds a way to escape the pain from the foiled relationship.
The movie's theme deals with the unspoken phrase, "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all", and while I do not personally agree with that, it did make for an interesting story.
It's not perfect...it's a little longer than it should be, but that's a minor quibble to an excellent movie.
