Ya i was thinking about doing it that, but i looked at my temperature it it wasn't higher then 89F, and plus it runs really stable. (DOES NOT CRASH !)
But on the othe hand Water cooling is NICE! (Really Quet!)

not that i know alot about over clocking but, am wondering if over clocking that much is going to give your CPU a short life span?

my analysis: OVERKILL
lol I just say that because of my puny specs . . . .
You know, guys USED to compare the size of something else to prove their manlihood . . . . ;) What are these days coming to . . .

Overclocking can shorten you CPU life. You have to increase the Voltage to your CPU after you raise the buss speed a bit. The increase in speed and voltage causes your CPU to run hotter. That decreases the lifespan. But the average Overclocker (and many gamers) only keep their CPU for a couple years anyway before moving on to the next CPU. Using good cooling is a must. Stock heatsinks will not cut it. If you keep the temps down you will not notice any decrese in lifespan I belive.
Sergio, have you tried to run any stress testing programs such as Prime, or others? I would like to know how stable your system is and what your CPU temp is under load.

In my humble opinion, overclocking is worth it in every respect--that is of course if you do it right. Computer Manufacturers clock their cpu's to stable at the worst possible normal temps, if that makes any sense. I could be living in Arizona with 95+ weather with stock heatsink on the processor and one puny 80mm fan, and the computer will run stable. Good overclockers keep their cpu temps at about 30-35c idle and 45-50 full load. All it takes is a nice fan/heatsink combo on the cpu with some nice arctic silver compound, and a bunch of quality fans.
I can only speak from experience, because my Pentium 4 2.4c is running at 3.3ghz--and the temperature is the same as stock! Bear in mind, I do have 6 80mm fans, a nice fan/heatsink, and a side and top exhaust built into my case.

if you swapped out that 512 mb of ram for a 1gb stick of the same, you'd see a large performance increase. :rup: :)
