So, like, I've had a request to do a multiquote...it's a way of quoting multiple posts really easy.

Unfortunately this mod doesn't work with the Quick Reply...in fact, trying to make it work causes all sorts of problems.
Personally, I like the quick reply a lot more than I like the idea of multi-quote, but there's at least one person here that disagrees with me....so I leave the issue up to you, the peoples of BLE.
Which feature do you want?
(You're welcome to find another mod too, but make sure it works with vb3.03).

quick reply for the win! (plus I have no idea what multiquote is but it sounds like some sort of fagotry to me!)

You know how when you hit the "quote" button you're taken to the "reply" page and the post you're replying to is already copied and pasted over with quote tags and everything?
Multi-quote does that for as many posts as you like...so you just hit a button on 3 posts, and when you go to the reply page you'll have all three posts in quote tags waiting for you.

*Copy pastes text I want to reply to in the Quick reply box and adds [quote= tags*
Quick reply FTW.

You guys suck! Multiquote is REALLY nice. Specifically threads like Jinx's. I wanted to quote several people, but it was just a pain to quote one person, then go through and quote another. It's MUCH easier to read a post and go, okay I want to quote/reply to this [clicks quote], move on to next post--oh don't care about this one, next post--worth quoting [click quote], etc. Then hit reply when you want to reply to all. Then everyone is quoted properly in one reply box. Personally, I think anyone who needs the quick reply is lazy. ;) Quick reply saves... maybe 5 seconds at that. Multi-quote saves quite a bit more time. But that's just my humble opinion.

I like the idea of Multi Quote, quick reply is almost useless to me since I use a lot of the code and such and don't bother to memorize it all.

I don't quite follow...

Honestly now, how much time does quick reply save? 3 seconds? (if your computer is a slow piece of junk... ;) )

For myself, I've got just about all the tags I ever use memorized.
[i], [u], [b], [url=], [img], [quote=M4lfunct1on]....it's not a "this saves x seconds per use" for me, it's more of a "if it saves me 1 second per use and I use it every time I ever post....".

I vote for quick reply. I think people will use it a lot more than they would use the multi quote feature. I mean, compare the amount of posts on these boards that quote either 1 post or dont have a quote at all, to posts with 2 or more quotes in them.

About five seconds on my DSL connection and decent machine.
I like both. But I prefer quickreply. Mutliquote is easy manually -- open quote pages in new tabs on Firefox, copy/paste into one reply. I win.
