Man, this looks sweet. It also looks like they're going to try and beat out Battlefield with this one, as it is based on a similar type of interface and gameplay. Check it out...

so esssentially its just bf1942, but better and star wars? sounds good, but i've already pre-ordered soldner. :buttwag: ;)

Wow, looks great... all i need is about $5000 and ill be set as far as a computer and new games and all that good stuff... -_- gonna have to work this summer...

looks good 'n all, im still just not sure about star wars games; the last good fps starwars game was dark forces. if you can call that good

Oh, come on...if you play your cards right, you can get a system capable of playing the latest games for $1000, easy. And that's a full system...any parts you can keep (ie, case, hard drive...) will just make it cheaper.

The last two "great" Star Wars games were Galaxies and Knights of the Old Republic... and that's because they were a new idea for the Star Wars universe.

The mixture of 3rd person and 1st person in Battlefront reminds me too much of the Jedi Knight games (which were pretty disappointing, IMO).

Hopefully, they can pull it off smoothly.

There's a few webpages (forum ammo, and flamehq) that have stuff like this... quite entertaining.
