Ok guys, I'm faced with a few options here:

Buy a car now, while my job situation may get rocky once I start school, or wait on buying a car of my own until I pay off the debt I owe my parents and know more about how my financial situation will pan out.

Fully kitted teg?

This is one I've been looking at in the Autotrader

Otherwise I'm looking into 98+ Integra GSR / Type R
Or 99-00 Civic Si

Is that a carbon-fiber hood? or did some dork think it would be cool to cheat and just paint it on?

CF, I don't buy ghetto. My next ride is one that needs to last me awhile, so I want it to be either really nice from the get go or just something that has really low miles / fair price.

:rdown: to buying already modded cars, if your car needs to last you a long time, dont mod it, heh

Depends on how you treat it. If I DO get a modded one from the start, it will be fully checked out by my two friends who happen to be two of the most knowledgable people in the area when it comes to Honda/Acura mechanics. Plus they can get my REALLY cheap parts.

meh, your still getting into a lot more hassle just because the majority of the time, if someones modded their car, they've been pretty hard on it, especially on a lowered suspension. So if you were buying it from one of those freinds and you knew how they treated it that'd be cool, but I would stay away from buying it if its owned by someone lets say 25 and younger...

generalizations suck but work out...

Yea, but if they have Tokicko gas truts and Tokicko springs, I tend to think the suspension is in good shape.

1993 TT Supra w/ 43,000 miles.
