Far Cry

Keep your eyes out for this game which is expected to be released in March. It's a somewhat open-ended shooter that takes place in a chain of tropical islands. The graphics will make your monitor explode. The levels are HUGE. The AI dynamic. The physics realistic. The weapons badass.

Not much was revealed about the plot at CES (as it was a technology demo), but I can't say enough about how extremely detailed and enormous the environments are. Forget individual blades of grass...this game has grass-hoppers!

If you shoot down a helicopter, the remains don't just evaporate away...they stay there! You can pilot jeeps, boats, and I even saw a hang glider in operation. A HANG GLIDER!

Have you seen anything else about that one game you were telling me about. It was called One Must Fall or something...

One Must Fall has been released. I almost bought it, but the reviews for it have been....eh...mediocre. I think we're stuck with Soul Caliber for fighting games, which is a shame. The idea of 16 people all kicking each other's ass sounded like a blast to me.

It's not the limited amount of publicity the game has gotten, it's the quality of the game. It's just not a good game (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/437185.asp).

generally speaking, a good game gets a lot more publicity and is therefore more popular...at least in my experience...

Hehehe, that would be cool. I love SC2, (fav chars:Nightmare Yoshimitsu*deathcopter! HAHAHAH!*) But of you are playing them in Xbox im gonna have to relearn all the moves and buttons *cries* i play it on Gamecube, but i dont have the game, my friend does... but i always win anyway... whats your guys fav chars for SC2?

I haven't played it all that much, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

I think I'm best at the sword guy in the upper left corner unless I'm playing Ender. If I'm playing Ender, then it's the pirate guy, slam dunking Ender over the edge of the map. ;)

BTW, I'll be bringing my Gamecube and the Bonus Zelda disk I got with it. Perhaps I should pickup Soul Calibur along with it? :nerd:

I just played the demo. The qraphics are nice and the plants and wildlife in the jungle look great too. Here is a screen shot of where you start the demo.
