So, I've been using this awesome program called WhatPulse for the past couple hours, just because I'm such a geek. It monitors keystroke frequency (individual and overall), click frequency, etc. I can then upload it to the website. At some point, it'll certainy be used for something worthwhile, I'm certain.
Yeah... so... I forgot something. I didn't actually enable keystroke frequency logging -- so those hours I spent typing aren't available to me in a chart of which keys I've hit most often.
I'm gonna cry, now.

Where do you get said program? I'm afraid to go to Google right now. I'm a little jumpy.

i hope all your freaking data i.e. passwords arent being sent to someone...
i don't see why you would willingly install a keylogger on YOUR OWN COMP

It's not a "keylogger" persay. It's a program that simple records keystroke and click rates, as well as which keys you've used the most, etc.

What does a keylogger do?
Sounds to me like its a keylogger. Its just not attached to a trojan.

Thus why I put quotations around it. It is not essentially a "keylogger" because it does not have the same usage as the more commonly known malicious keylogger.

A keylogger, is a keylogger. It logs keystokes. It doesn't mater what you do with that info. Its still a keylogger.

exactly, and I am way to paranoid to have that kind of data stored on my computer. There has got to some enterprising haxor out there who know how to take advantage of this program.

A keylogger records sequence of keystrokes. This records keystroke frequency. There's a distinct difference. ;)

I just realize how high X is on the list. Unless I set up a program to intermittely hit the X key, I don't see how it would be that high. Methinks something's borked. That, and it says I've hit a media key ("unknown") over 1500 times.
