Hey folks!
I'm gonna be puttin this vest up for auction on e-bay soon, but before I do that, I figured I'd see if there was anyone on here that would be interested in buying it at the opening bid I'm gonna ask. This pic was taken before the vest was finnished, so it's actually an inch and a half longer than it is in the pic. It's a 6 in 1 vest made out of 14ga. 3\8" galvinized steel rings. (6 in 1 means that each ring passes through 6 others). The traditional european weave is only a 4 in 1, which makes this vest quite beefy! To get an idea for the diff. in density, my buddy in the pic is wearing sleeves of 4 in 1 made from 16ga 5/16" rings underneath the vest. If you found this in a dungeon in diablo I, it would easily have an armor class of 35-40 with quite a high duribility to boot! :tup: (he he he) Anyways, although this thing took me a ridiculous ammount of time to construct, I'm only asking $400 for it. (yes, I know... the word "only" is kinda funny in front of "$400") ;) If anyone is interested, I'll let ya take a look at it and try it on before buying. let me know!
