Favorite games played at the LAN?

What's your favorite game(s) that we will be (might be) playing at the LAN (and future LANs)?

I'm a 2k3 player to start with, but I play Rainbow Six 3: Ravenshield just about as much. Not quite, but close. I play Desert Combat a ton when at any LAN, though not so much online. However, my original gaming passion is/was Warcraft III. So I guess you can say, umm...that I like all the games we play. Yeah. That's it. :erm:

Me too. But that's mainly because of my all out addiction to it. :p

The original unreal tournament is probably a better lan game though, because anybody can pick it up fairly quickly, and you gotta love the exploding gibs all over the place. :D

Well, I'm certainly not that great at flying...there are those out there who seem impossible to knock out of the sky...but I can hold my own in most flying vehicles...Dave is the one you should watch out for...his accuracy in a plane is deadly. :(

Well, I would say that q3 is even easier to pick up...'cept it has that little unfair thingy called a RAIL GUN that just sucks because if someone like Dave the aim whore gets it everyone's dead. :grumpy:

I'm only okay in planes against other planes...I can't hit ground targets, and when I try I usually end up killing people on my own team. Hard to tell who's who when you're jetting around =).

And yea...I'm a major rail-gun whore. *cough*

well, a plane hitting a helo is easy even for me...so I imagine that it'd be a no-brainer for you...though, sometimes, you do surprise me with your...ah, nm...;)

UT2k3. Also, I'm usually up for anything that's a little more involved, ie, Enemy Territory, Ravenshieldish games.

Unfortunately, ive never played UT2k3, or any other of these games, except for Warcraft 3. but if UT2k3 is anything like Quake3
it would probably be my favorite, im addicted to Quake >_<

It's very similar to Quake3...I almost never play it, but because I'm pretty decent at UT2k3, I'm pretty decent at Q3. Hence, I hereby challenge you to a Q3 1vs1 Match.

Hahahaha, ok, sure, I can beat the final guy on the hardest setting, so hopefully ill do pretty good... but i havent played Q3 ni a few weeks, lent it to my friend, oh well. Let's just figgin' play games!!!! No, really...for me my favorite is the one I play at that moment. Especially in a LAN enviroment, it is hard to have a sucky game. (Unless the server acts up) ahem.;)

you'll notice that we had no servers acting up this LAN...and now that we've figured out how to beat them (cause after all, it's a war between us and them, they hate working for people) they will never give us problems again! *knocks on wood* (seriously, I did) :)

Seriously though...besides RvS being weird at the beginning and not letting more than 4 players in, which problem we fixed rather quickly, everything was perfect! :woot:
