I.E. The Two Towers extended version?
My thoughts after watching it:
The new scenes added in much desired footage, which completed the story far better than the theatrical version. What surprises me the most, is how they could justfiy pulling those scenes out in the first place! They were such an integral part of the story...
However, it still had some problems that they didn't fix, which in turn keep the movie in its 2nd place status (imo) to fellowship of the Ring (and of course I mean the extended version of that one too ;)). I am curious to see the next one, moreso than to just finish the trilogy, but to try and understand why in the world the actors would think that the Return of the King is the best one of the three, when the Two Towers was praised before hand and then seemed to lack in its delivered goods. But I'm sure that the extended version of the Return of the King will be far better than its theatrical version too...can't wait to see that! Hope they put all the extended versions back in theatres once they are all released!
