I just talked with my dad and he was telling me some of the details. It's going to be an 8-hour hike up. We'll spend the night halfway up. And the kicker.... We are going to snowboard part of the way back down!!!:woot: :woot: :woot:

I tried Backpacking a couple times but decided it wasn't worth my effort. Its a lot of work to carry all that MT. Dew on my back for 2 days. :pant:

Hmm... I'm kinda worried. I drank 70oz of Gatorade last time I went snowboarding(camelback). That wasn't even strenuous. Wonder how much I'll drink hiking Baker!

well the biggest thing is to get well hydrated before hand. Drink enough to make your wis clear at about the night before then keep a good level (not that much or you will need to be going constantly). This will allow your body to aclimitize to whatever happens easier.

I'm not talking about that kind of hiking..... I'm talking about hiking the actual mountain. The ski area is on Shuksan Arm. I'm going to the top baby!

I know its on shucksan. I was just saying that you should do it the easy way. Start a 3 year construction to build a chair lift to the top. You also might want to get a no money cheat too.
