Anyone like duel monitors?

How maney of you have expermented with duel monitors and liked it. I have got them and I kinda like them except that I have had a few problems with C&C games. Other than that I have onley found that it is good for watching a movie on one monitor and working on the other. I was thinkin of putting my other videocard in a do tripple but I think I would go nuts.

I like it when I'm doing modding work...that's the time when I really like as much window space as humanly possible. Beyond that...eh...not so big of a deal.

I use dual monitors and love it. I use the setup all the time when I'm gameing and want some reference off the web to be available while I'm in game. it's also great for modeling/photoshoping because you can put all your palletts on the seccond monitor. I also use dual monitors because one of my monitors is a beastly 21 inch crt that sucks power like you wouldn't believe; so when I don't need both monitors I tend to switch off the 21 inch and just use my lcd. the only reason you will never see me useing dual monitors at the lan parties is because the 21 inch monitow weighs way to much for me to even consider moveing it from my desk.

Yeah there's certainly no reason to do it at a LAN, in fact we'd ask you not to since there are power consumption issues we have to deal with.

But using them at home is totally cool. I haven't done it for awhile cause I haven't had the need so much. But it's still pretty nice to have stuff always available to see while you're gaming and such. If do any sort of map making, modding, or anything of that sort, it is super helpful to have 2 monitors. :)

Hmm.... scratches head.... How about a hack that allows you to have a map with moving colored icons that show you where the other players are? Put that on your second monitor and you are set! You always know where everyone is!

I would like to get a dual monitor thingy setup again someday for photoshop and golive, but they have to be the same model, color and everything or I'll go crazy go nuts

dual monitors rock. I keep aim msn xfire winamp and teamspeak on my other screen so nothing clutters up my main monitor. WOOT TO DUAL MONITORS
