So, I was sitting at school and some people were talking about being engulfed in flames via a blackpowder accident and it made me remember you said something about having some crappy powder.
Do you want to get rid of it or sell it?
I wanna blow up... i mean dispose of it properly.

VERY difficult to do. Unlike white gunpowder, you can't just wrap it up in paper. The only way it's going to make an explosion is if it's packed really tight into something very strong/air tight. I tried this myself with 300 grains of black powder packed into a plastic tube. All it did was puff up in flames and smoke. :slant:

i HAVE SMOKELESS POWDER. FOR RELOADING MODERN CARTIDGES. iT BURNS FASTER THAN BLACKPOWDER THAT YOU USE IN MUZZLELOADERS. (Caps lock sucks). I Don't think it would work for your uses. And I wouldn't feel right giving it to you for that use.

Also: Black powder ignites with friction. You'd likely give yourself a nasty burn if you handled it too roughly.

LOL... lucky for me that isn't true. Handle it roughly. Nothing to worry about. I wrapped up several pellets of 50gr black powder and broke them into powder with a hammer. Sparks are all you have to worry about. And even then it's not like white powder. It's not going to just combust. It almost has to be intentional. Heck, I've had misfires with my .50 rifle. The percussion cap blew, but it never ignited the powder(second cap ignited the powder).
