BLE's February LAN is moments away...are you ready???
There's a few things to tell you about this LAN that you might be interested in knowing...as always ;)...but first, for anyone that's new, let me help you figure out what's going on. :)
What: BLE's Feb LAN party
Where: Pacific Meridian Plaza, 4th floor conference room
When: Saturday Feb 26, 10:00 am to 3 am Sunday
Cost: $15 prepay (paypal only, no CC's accepted), $20 at the door
Cost includes: Pizza, sodas, snacks, prize and tournament entry, plus, a kick ass LAN. ;)

Ok! So now on to the good stuff!
First off, I want to say that our good friends at the Penny Arcade have been kind enough to donate some tshirts to us. We've got 10 of these and we want to give them to you guys, but............
;)
here's the catch: :D The first 10 PREPAID LANers to show up will get a tshirt. We've only got 5 prepays on the list right now, so prepaying now will greatly further your cause of a shirt. If we don't get 10 prepays, then the first 10 people in line will grab those shirts.
We also have a special surprise for you, and you can thank Uncle Sam for this one. He gave me back a lot of money for taxes this year, so I'm throwing some at you guys in some uncertain ways...I'm going to say how, but I will say this, the more people who show up right at 10:00 the better. :D
And now for the big news: The BLE triathalon is making its return! This LAN the Triathalon features old school games for the reminiscint heart. Game #uno features Quake 3 (vanilla) in a FFA match - top 6 advancing. Game #2 has our runner up in the game of the hour vote with Worms World Party. And Game #3 is such a bit surprise, you had to be at bowling last weekend to hear me spill the beans. The top 3 will compete in this game, provided we get it to work right. :p
In other news, there is yet another BLE favorite coming back this LAN, but it's such a super secret thing that I can only hint at it's amazing top side. People will prize the moment it happens.
Give FeaR a hard time before Saturday, as it's his job to have the Server updated with all the relevant patches and the like, as well an an Intraweb for easy access of said patches. :rup:
And lastly, a bit of organizational info. To keep things running a little more smooth we're going to be changing the way you buy bawls. During setup there will be a small segment where you can guy them, but after that, you will only be able to purchase them between Game of the Hours. So be sure to stock up!
With all that, here's yon schedule:
10:00 - 12:00: Setup, I also hear Dawn of War will be making a sneak appearance.
12:00 - 1:50: Battlefield Desert Combat
2:00 - 3:50: Ravenshield
4:00 - 6:00: Tribes Vengeance
6:00 - 7:00: Dinner, plus our door prize! :woot:
7:00 - 8:50: CSS (mebbe some HL2 DM as well!)
9:00 - 10:00: BLE Triathalon and winner's ceremony, I also hear some mean console action will be going on
10:00 - Midnight: UT2004
Midnight - 3:00: Free play, consoles, and whatever else you can make happen will be happening. I forsee some tetrinet, and maybe even a little Shot Online for Dave and Warder (we'll make sure they sit together ;))
So there you have it! Everyone call Ryan at Eb so he is nice to Jesse and let's him off early! ;)
