Why so much for ~30 mins? :( What kind of gokarts are these, the really kickass fast ones on an indoor track? I'd be up for it. Ride, anyone? Cody? Phoenix? Spammy? Depending on where, I could just bike seeing as no compie is req'd. So, where?

They're the kickass fast ones on an indoor track. The website is here (http://www.karttrakraceway.com/index.htm). I guarentee you that after 10 minutes on one of these, you WILL be drained, both physically and mentally.

As far as the cost, the simple answer is "because it's worth it". The long answer involves a combination of BLE not wanting to lose more money than we really have to, and not wanting to pay for people to go-kart if they don't REALLY want to go-kart.

For that latter reason, I'm not really going to spend a lot of time trying to talk people into this. If you'd like to come, we'd love to have you. If you'd rather not spend the money and/or make the trip, we'll have plenty of other midlan events that will be cheaper and closer.

I neglected to see that the weekend rate is about 2x as much as the weekday rate, which is why we did it during the week last year.
