I'm always curious as to what other peoples desktops look like, so I'm starting a thread for it. Just attach your picture, if you need help attaching or modifying or anything shoot me a PM.

Heres mine. I like a clean desktop so when I'm doing projects I can store everything right on the desktop and organize it nicely.

I got this picture and actually most of my really good scenery pics from RMS13.com (http://images.rms13.com/). Great great pictures there. I'm usuing themexp to modify windows default theme while still usuing xp's theme engine so no preformance hit. The theme is called blackcomb. I'm also usuing trillian for my IM's (contacts blurred), and the dock I talked about is y'z dock.

Mine clashes??? How? I've got a white background with blue tones. No mixes of all sorts of color. The whole point of mine is to be relaxing on the eyes. A clean palate per say.

I just can't use light desktops, I keep my room fairly dark a lot of the time so an overly light desktop can be hard on ze retinals!

BTW heres a picture of my desktop right now, I'm working on some things right now so its a bit messy (ooh and installing opera 7.50 beta 3! w00t!). UB, shut it you x2 :p

Hmph... I've never used Opera before. So, I decided to download the Beta. What's so great about this compared to IE? From what I see, it's actually slower... This page loaded fast, but then as I was typing, the text was showing up slow and the bar at the bottom said loading pictures XXXkb of XXXkb..

lol here is newest theme. Shades of white and blue, very easy on the eyes. Not too macish, it still has the normal windows taskbar, XP start menu, mac background, and the thing that says iTunes is actually WMP9, it's just that this new skin is everything that WMP lacked. It's great, everything looks good and is really acessable.

and this newish theme almost completed is here. Its not seen but Opera has the same white interface with a blue title bar that pulls it into the rest of the theme.

I use to use themexp.org but they've started installing spyware with the themes so its a no go now, plus the quality has always been lesser.

It's quite different from most themes Cody, but you'd have to use it for awhile to notice... but you haven't ever used one so you probably wouldn't notice anyway. And yes, I think me and Dan are the only two people who like the mac theme... so?

I'm not using that anymore, though. Right now I'm using Blackcomb with this awesome picture of San Diego... the water front at night, with all the lights reflecting and stuff. Very cool. :tup:
