Workin on a borked computer and this is in the event log. It loads then crashes to BSOD that helps nothing with its silly error code. Boots fine into safe mode.

E-Machines are actually pretty good systems...at least, the recent ones are.

128mb ram shared with intergrated graphics. Its slower then a slug with a brick on its back.

It should be against the law to cripple a decent processor with so little ram.

Think a sec...How much RAM does Windows require to run?

Yeah, well my friends lappy is having fun issues. When you boot normally, you can't type in a password. The numbers and letters don't work(arrow keys work). Safe mode, the keyboard works perfectly. Drivers are all functional, no spyware, and System Restore won't work. Can we say reformat-reinstall???

NO, his power cord is l33t. The part of the plug that plugs into his laptop has broken apart. If he pull on the wire, the two parts sperate and you can see bare wires. He literally has the thing held together with a small piece of scotch tape. I was appalled when i saw it.

My XP 2000+ has 128mb of ram right now, but it's running Gentoo... only because I put the Corsair 512 in the Duron 1.3 that's running XP.
