No, not really. Real Time Combat systems have been around since, what, 96'? The plot is slightly cliched. The only thing that isn't cliched is the fact that there's a twist, but the twist ends up being something cliche. Heh. Oh well! I still enjoy it.

Plus, you can't beat a main character with two swords... ever.

I guess the main reason I'm enjoying it is because it's just executed so well. That and I haven't played a console RPG in ages, so it's kinda nostalagic to play one again.

Kratos is the badass. Plus Zelos' AI in battles seems to be FUBAR'd, he's friggin worthless. Thus I'm forced to use the pussy with handcuffs instead of Kratos. :sob:
