Big thumbs down!

I saw what I thought was an insane deal. $10 after an instant rebate. It's a piece of crap. The mouse jumps all over. I'll be moving the mouse, then all of a sudden it's at the lower left corner and won't leave. 5 seconds later it's working again. Then all of a sudden it jumps to the upper right corner. It's a POS!!!!

And this is what the troubleshooting guide says:

The cursor moves uncontrollable around the screen, files may open and other unexplained occurances:

There is a conflict with drives and/or devices. Please remove all other drivers or devices until the problem is solved.

Oh yeah, so you're telling me I need to start removing all my drivers and drives? Okay, so let's disable my DVD/CD-RW and my video card drivers so I can use a POS $10 mouse. I don't think so!

Is it wireless? If so try a fresh set of bateries.

What kind of mouse pad are you using? My optical does not like mouse pads with diferent colors on it. It jumps when it gets to another color. Try a plain white piece of paper.

Or there may have been a reason it was so cheap.

No batteries, and I used it on an almost solid color. White, with some black. I think it's a flaw. I mean, heck, they have a section in the FAQ's, and they say it's driver issues. I'm just going to go take it back and spend a little more for a Microsoft mouse.

Microsoft mice rulz. I was very reluctant to ditch Logitech, selling my soul to The Man...but I have to say, I'm very happy with my Explorer 3.0.

If only I were tech savvy enough to run Linux or something.
