somebody did the buy it now but I think it was a scam. :mad: Hard to say - my auction says paypal only but he's trying to get me to take a western union money order. There are many other 'fishy' things about this character as well which make me a little hesitant. So right now I gave him ultimatum that it's paypal or no sale. Waiting to here back from him...

Selling your laptop? If so, tell him to take a hike. It just sucks that he will probly leave negative feedback. But thats better than getting riped off.

Yeah this is for the lappie - he ended the auction 3 days early by buying it now for $1300 (a lot more than I was hoping to get for it) and then sent me a weird ass email. Other weird stuff - he has a feedback rating of 0 - this was his first bid ever. Kinda fishy if you ask me. I've got 100% positive feedback but I don't care if he leaves negative feedback - anyone doing their research will see what I left for his feedback. ;) and then figure out that he's prolly a scammer.

Seriously there's no good reason to use WU over paypal. Sending a money order costs money where paypal is free.

Western union is one of the bigest ebay scams on high dollar items there is. Fake escrow services are another way people get screwed. Don't deal with him if he wont use paypal. File a non paying bider claim to get your money back from ebay after ten days.
