Fear, what kinda temps were you running? I set a friend up with a 2.8E a while back and his runs pretty hot. He's got the Thermaltake 7 Spark+(whatever it's called) full copper heatsink with tons and tons of fins. And his didn't like overclocking at all. It runs kinda hot and would always crash at even slight overclocking...

I've had alot better luck than he has, that and the Spark+ isn't a very good heatsink. Reasoning? The fan is only 70mm, and pushes a max of ~50CFM. The copper fins are indeed abundant, but they're very short (At least compared to newer heatsinks) It is a great inexpensive cooler however, it's just very far from the best. I've posted my temps in another thread in General, running 3.5ghz at 40 idle, ~50 load. This is considering a ambient temp of ~26-28 degrees. Sorry for the celcius, but I'm not really familiar with fahrenheit in conjunction with CPU's. I'll get that link in a sec.
