Who'd Win in a Fight?

Who would win? Spider-Man or Sabretooth?

Things to consider:
Spider-Man's superior intelligence and speed, and the Spider Sense, as well as his web-flinging skills. Most important: Good Guy Factor.

Sabretooth's razor sharp claws, animal like ferocity, and healing power.

I voted for Spider-Man but I would be rooting for sabretooth.

I call Spiderman just because he's so quick and agile...Sabretooth would never get close enough to do any damage.

I call Sabertooth cause in the movie spidey seemed to make a few crucial mistakes (and occasionally in the comics too). And Spiderman's first mistake against Sabertooth would likely be his last. ;)

But in the movie that was Spider-Man's FIRST super-Villian showdown... He really had not fought against anyone with skills that could rival his, so it was all new to him... The cartoon/comic book Spidey is much more experienced and much wiser in combat than the rookie in the movie.

Yeah I'm thinking spidey. I mean hes smarter, faster and can get places that sabertooth can't.

So I guess the real question is sabertooth vs Disque Dove in a cage fight. :D

Being that I've always been a Spidey fan(I've got tons of Spiderman comics), I'd say our friendly neighborhood spider would win. Sabretooth wouldn't be thinking that much. He just "reacts" quite like an animal. Spiderman on the other hand would be smart enough to play on his animal instincts and he'd win the fight.

Never was a big spiderman guy, but Sabertooth is cool because he can roar. If I could change myself to be even more cool (I wish it were possible) I would give myself fangs and the ability to roar. If you can't beat your opponent, deafen them!

spider man would win if for no other reason than because he can imobilize sabertooth in a way that healing can't fix (although it might take all of the webbing that spidie has).

kk one thing that stumanji didn't put up is the fact the sabertooth knows how to fight......he is a trained killer....stumanji and i went to barns & nobel and looked up there stats out of i think i was seven sabertooths fighting was a six campared to spider-mans i believe it was a 2....so spider man has a fighting ablity compare able to a fourth grader man he's so tough...and sabertooth and spidy have met and fought sobertooth was winning i believe but blackcat help and then spiderman shot his web in sabertooths face....and then ran away....sabertooth ripped all the skin off his face and looked around but spiderman wasn't there...so he left for the hospital............:buttwag: sabertooth would slaughter the little bug

Okay... that's it. You have forced me to do it. I'm going to go out into the garage and into the basement... I'm going to search until I find my Marvel playing cards. I know that for a fact that Spidey doesn't have a 2 in fighting. He was one of the most powerful guys in the game.

Okay, so I'm really pissed I couldn't find my cards. Cause I've got a TON! Anyway, I still have my complete collection of the Spiderman series cards.

ok well those cards might as that but in a marvel stat book (which is an official marvel item) spider is no where close to sabertooths fighting but if that’s what that says ok for now....I’m getting that marvel book at the end of this month or and the beginning or may....so at the next halo lan I’ll show you what it says...also I really wouldn't count the cards because some of the moves they have(which would be considered "special moves" are insert cards so the original cards aren't giving the characters their full potential

I voted for Spidey because sabertooth is just a big brainless brute. Spidey not only has brains, but some braun and he can shoot web. No contest in my opinion for what its worth. spiderman would dominate.

Bizzump. Cuz debree, who hasn't posted here in about 5 months, can't seem to grasp the fact that Spider-Man would cold-stone-WHOOP Sabertooth.

no sabertooth would win.....ok it's this easy - maybe sabertooth might not be able to " sneak up" on spidey cause of his "spider sense" but his spider sense doesn't tell him where it's coming from - just that it's coming. so hes not exactly neo and going to be able to pull off some amazing move and kick sabertooth's ass what would happen is spidey would be a bitch and run away and hide for a bit and eventually come out once he has gotten the balls to face him face to face and he would try cause he tries to face everyone face to face....and when he does this sabertooth would eventually grab him and literally rip him to shit...cause spidey can't heal like wolverine can so in a fight with sabertooth he would have no room for error and as we have all seen in the past spiderman fucks up some where in every fight even if it's just him mouthing out that will give sabertooth another edge that he doesn't need at all.........

and also "spidey would win cause sabertooth is brainless" or however that went...man this isn't the SAT's this is a hunt and then a fight the things sabertooth are best at so it's doesn't matter if he can add 2+2 as long as he knows when he rips spidey heart out the over rated hero will die....

also i have another question..if this question was who would win wolverine or spidey there would prolly be alot more diffrent opinions and i'm sure all of you being experts know that 4 out of 5 fights between wolverine and sabertooth sabertooth wins (if no one interferes like another annoying x-man) so if wolverine beats spidey and sabertooth beats wolverine why would spidey beat sabertooth that just doesn't add up :spank: so thats what all you non believers get

Actually Spidey can heal. He doesn't heal at the same pace but he does. Read some Spidey comics and you'll start to see why we all believe he will win. If I remember right, Spidey's strength is up there with the Hulk. So saying that Sabertooth would grab him and rip him apart isn't true. I could do some reading and refer you to a comic where a subway station colapses while Spidey is chasing Doc Conners(as the Lizard) Spidey is stuck under tons and tons of steel, asphalt, etc. He may have broken his shoulder in the process but he lifted it up high enough to climb out. Ah screw it. I don't want to waste my time arguing why Spiderman would win. He just WOULD.
