...for PC FEB LAN!
Keep in mind this LAN goes from 10:00 a.m. to whenever. So the official "tentative" ;) schedule is as follows:
UT2k3 Shield Cannon Tourny:
Practice begins at 5:00, one 5 minute round, then the Tourny begins. The actual tournament has no time limit nor frag limit. First person to beat Myself and DiscoDave's combined score in ffa shield cannon deathmatch will be the winner.
Dinner at or around 6:00 pm
BF go kart tourny (w/air cannon challenge):
Immediately after dinner. 10 minute practice session before actual tournament. Tournament is 20 minutes long, score is tallied in game. Top 3 scorers compete in Air Cannon Challenge by attempting to knock down a stack of empty pop cans from a undisclosed distance with DD's Air Cannon. Scoring in bf is as follows: 1 point for a kill of an enemy (myself and DD are the only enemies) and 2 points for turning a flag. White flags turn instantly but enemy flags take foooorreeeeeeeeever.
UT2k4 DM tourny(with RC cars):
Right after the Go kart tourny. A 2k4 server will have been up all day so practice for this match will be like 5 minutes. FFA format, match is 15 minutes. Score by killin yo! Top three fraggers compete in RC cars race - rules of which will be disclosed at that time.
BLE Triathlon:
After the 2k4 tourny. This tourny is only open to 16 players based on a first come first serve. RvS pistols only is the first game up. Pistols only, survival format, map undisclosed. Map will be 9 rounds. There will be 4 rounds of practice prior to actual match starting.
Quake 3 FFA DM is the next game. 15 minutes, map undisclosed. 5 minute practice session before match. A q3 server is likely to be up most of the day as well for practice.
XBOX Halo to finish. yes, you read right, you PC bums will be fighting each other like the n00bs your titles say you are. ;) 15 mintues, 5 second respawn time, map undisclosed, ffa format.

Before the first tournament, so from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be open gaming time with a "game of the hour" type environment. Not literally, we're not going to ask or invite everyone to switch games every hour. But there will be one game for X amount of time that BLE will push/invite everyone to play for fun's sake. This includes ALL the game on our list. We hope to see at least one big game of Savage, some Call of Duty, some DC, some RvS, some wc3, some DOOM?????, some quake 3, some 2k3 Rocket Arena, some 2k4 demo. As you can see, lotsa games, and not so much time. It behooves you to come early! :woot: and it behooves you to stay late! :woot: In order to play all these games.
Airstotle has mentioned his remorse for the loss of the DC and rvs tournaments, and has volunteered to organize pickup tournies of said games during this space. We will probably do this during the game of the hour when these games have that spotlight, and hopefully he will come up with something very creative that gets us all involved (like a king of the hill type dealy)!
Xbox tournies will be recieving their own thread very soon. :)
