ATTN: X-Box Players

I'm part of a crowd of 6 players right now (5 of them are already registered). We want to synchronize our arrival times with the other X-Box players, so that we have the optimal number of players for some mean Halo games (that's the primary reason this group of 6 is coming, FYI)...

If the other 6 registered players show up at or around the same time, then we should have a series of good games... it's never fun to start a LAN game and three hours into it all the players show up, and you're getting burned out...

We will be arriving at approximately:
2 PM

2pm was about the time me and my brother (The Bandit) were planning to show up, but we are sleepy bastards that stay up late, so maybe a little later. But we were kind intending on making a day/night out of it. Like play maybe grab some dinner, and come back and stuff like that. Is that allowed, or is it once you leave, you can't come back.

My crew (of which I'd say 4 are pretty good, one average, and one less than great) is half of the X-Box players!

there are a bunch of peps that'll show up later(1-5), but aren't going to sign up on-line as they may not be able to make it at all.(they're working, going to a dance, or busy the day of the LAN)

Assuming we get 16 players, we should hold a FFA Slayer game on Hang'em High with human weapons to decide teams...
How the standings end will decide some even teams CTF/KotH/Oddball games...

problem with 2v2 tourny: as i was talkn with ender today, he pointed out that the prizes people get are lamer and lamer the bigger the teams get.

Looks like it's gonna be a One on One Slayer tourney... Prizes are too limiting for a team tourney (even if it's two players per team)...

I'm hoping we'll mix up the teams every now and then... not just rematch after rematch.

I hope we get team and solo games of KotH, Oddball, and Race... not just CTF and Slayer

I hope people are open to crazy games, like Melee only, or Shotguns Only King of the Hill (no moving hill) on Hang'em High...

Stuff like that. I want to keep the variety going, so people don't lose interest too fast.

You should see how crazy it gets on Hang'em High with Shotguns only, King of the Hill, no moving hill...

That little pillar in the center of Hang'em High, you have to jump to it. That's the hill. A game to two minutes will take around 20 to finish...

The most important thing is this:
NO RADAR

Nav Points are alright. Radar is WEAK.

Only radar I will play with is Team radar. Or what is it Phantoms? Where everyone is invisible? I'll play that with radar. Whoa, that would make a great team game!

Rockets Only
Oddball - Reverse Tag
Trait with Ball - Faster
Trait without Ball - Invisible
Nav Points Only

- Set it so there is one ball for every 3 or 4 players. It's crazy. When you kill someone you get a big target above your head, and you become visible. In a game with 16 players, there will be four or five players running around with targets on them, and 10 or 11 rockets flying through the air at these people. Since everyone is invisible, the players who are "It" have to be attentive to where they're running.
