I get my wisdom teeth out in half an hour. I'm so freakin afraid of the dentist, it's not even funny. There is literally nothing that scares me more. I think I'm gonna be sick before I even have to start taking the heavy duty painkiller medicine that can make you barf. Ugh, and they're going to knock me out with an IV. That's my second least favorite thing behind getting a shot in the mouth.

It's no biggy Pine, I got all 4 of mine done in the same day.

They gave me alot of vicodin I didn't even use.. I did however take two when I got home... Felt like I was drunk, and all I wanted to do was sleep.. lol it was great.

Oh, its not so bad , I was down for a day after I got mine out, man were those good drugs, but the best part is that you get to clean the holes after you eat.

Ahhh.. my wisdom teeth were a fun experience. Mine came in early and fast so I had them taken out at 16. The removal wasn't so bad, but afterwards was. I had the Nitrous Oxide as high as the legal limit. It wasn't affecting me so he had to keep cranking it up. Then all of a sudden it hit me, but I wasn't going to tell him that, ;) . Then I had more novacaine shots than I can remember. I think about 3 or 4 per tooth. Periodically he'd ask if I was feeling discomfort and he'd give me a shot, or I'd jerk or wince and he'd give me another one. Whole time I was trippin listening to Sublime, watching flecks of my teeth flying out my mouth as he drilled, chiseled, and yanked on them. Went by pretty fast. But afterwards I was screwed up. The drugs, Percoset and Vicodin screwed me up big time. They made me dizzy and naseous. NOT fun at all! And I only took half the dose. Tried percoset the first day and vicodin the second. My mouth is so small that it swelled up afterwards.

You guys are weak. When I got mine pulled the only thing they gave for pain afterwards was advil.

I only used the vicodin because someone told me it was fun..

I was told about a month ago I would be ok for another year or two. My X-rays werent very pleasing. It showed my wisdom teeth growing in halfway under my 2nd molar. The dentist assured me that that was an "optical illusion" Eh... what the hell? That tooth is underneath that other tooth.... =\

I will ask to be gassed and you all know SD will take too much vicadin.

I refuse to use the gas. novacane is all I will let them use. Thats all they used when I had my wisdoms pulled. The gas makes me sick.

They also do IV nowadays...its a little bit more expensive...but novacaine does nothing for me...Only time I felt nothing when getting teeth pulled was when they gassed me...I have to have my Wisdom teeth out by the end of the year...I'm definetly getting put under.

They knocked me out with an IV, and I woke up feeling drunk and great. It was awesome. I kept cold packs on my face all yesterday and today I haven't taken any painkiller and I feel ok. Wonder what I'm going to do with all those Vicodin? :tup:

i havent had my wisdom teeth pulled, but i did get oral surgery a few years ago

i still remember watching them (painlessly) put the IV in.

"hey, that didnt hurt at allllll.... ZZZZZZ"

i woke up breifly, enough to notice i was in a wheelchair going to the car, and then the next thing i remembered i was on the couch at home a few hours later.

then they said i wouldnt be doing anything for a week, and i got bored and went out boating with my family after 3 days. back on solid food within 2 weeks :tup:
