Bungie made the game, Gearbox ported it to PC, and it was ported to the Mac by Westlake Interactive.

We actually played a ctf at prisoner the other day, they got 2-3 flags while we tried to figure out what the hell we were doing and where everything was but after that we did decent. It was like 5-3 or something. Xbc is fun but pistol is so much different its ridiculous and i rely on the pistol.

Halo on Gamespy and XBC is a bit too laggy for my enjoyment. It's too hard to get used to that, then play a LAN match, and you're aiming is completely off...

So, I only do LAN now.

Weirdness: XBC connects probably 5% of the games I try to join, Gamespy Tunnel, which many consider inferior to XBC, connects me 90% of the time.

R-Dizzle and Quickshot (RaWkus) need to take a look at my friend Erik. I played Erik for the first time before the February LAN, and he worked me into the ground. He's been playing a lot of GameSpy Tunnel matches apparently. At any rate, I tried to get him to come to the Feb LAN but he couldn't make it... But he'd seriously give you guys a run for your money with the pistol and the sniper. He's money.

Played some Gamespy Halo today. Wasn't laggy at all (average ping ~ mid 90's). The first 30-45 seconds of the match are unbearable, since the X-Boxes are struggling to get in sync, but once they all catch up to each other, you barely notice the lag, if there's any lag at all.

My teammates apparently had a problem with me, since they'd club me in the back to take my weapons... but I had the last laugh ending in the tops on my team in most kills, least deaths, most assists for every game. Punks...

Played against Erik today (on Gamespy), and he's still as good as I remember. I improved against him though... probably killed him 25% of our showdowns... probably owe my improvment to my Halo:PC gaming I've been doing (with an X-Box controller)... It was fun. Couldn't win though... didn't have the right supporting cast.

Note on Halo: PC --- The Banshee is the CHEAPEST vehicle in the game. If you play Blood Gulch, Gephyrophobia, Death Island, Infinite, or Sidewinder then beware for the guy(s) that spend all day in the Banshees just collecting kills. It's really easy to kill people in those, and these guys just take'em and go on killing sprees, then at the end of the game, they're like, "w00t! Most kills!"

Then they get testy when I say, "Any retard can kill with a Banshee." (That actually got me banned once).

I'm a Halo player. I'm pretty good in single player. But I know I will get my ass kicked at a lan. I have very little experence with large multiplayer. Heck the largest I've played is Four. Sad I know. But I learn Fast.

Y'know what, the skill range of the Halo players is pretty much all over the spectrum. You may think you're going to be the worst one there, but it's not always the case.

Consider this as well: You may be the worst overall, but you could be the best flag returner, the best grenade tosser, the best warthog driver, or the best base defender... You could be valuable in a team game.

So get your friends, Shadow, and get the the LAN on Saturday. The more the merrier, indeed.
