....Um...yea.....it's cool, and stuff. Except I hate it when I get beat up. Sometimes people hit me really hard and I don't get up again, and that sucks. But other than that it's cool.
The forum should be fairly self-explanatory =).

Muahyahahah! Ive been practicing with Yoshimitsu and Nightmare, I got nightmare's costume that was him before the Soul Edge corrupted him too ^_^ sooo l33t!

Link is way more fun to play than Spawn.
I'm not real good at these kindsa games, but I was practicing and practicing, and finally started getting some of the combos down for my two fave characters (Kilik and Ivy). I then invited my boyfriend to play (http://www.minbari.net/smiles/asthanos.gif). He's NEVER played a game like this, so I was feeling damn confident.
He kicked my ass. he just mashed buttons while I was trying to do combos and stuff.

Trick to beating those types of people is to use your long attacks. Ground sweeps and quick 3 hot combos work best.

I've gotten fairly good at keeping him away, using Kilik's "pole poke" maneuver. Decent damage and it keeps 'em at a good distance. :D That and Ivy's "EXTEND!" attack, where she extends the sword out in front of her in an S-wave. That's a nice one too :)
Just a matter of practice, although PS2ing is a bitch right now (cut my thumb, can't use the controlpad :().

On GC its Y and X at the same time to meditate, then input such as the A or x button makes him do something, I think the X (kick) button makes him fake teleport and do his Kangaroo kick.
and then A (horizontal slash) he rolls and stabs. Y(vertical slash) he teleports and does this crazy dive move, soo l33t! There other stuff, with button combos, Ill let you work on that from the command list ;)

Fortunately, I don't know of anyone I've seen at BLE that is exceptionally good.
I held my own against everyone I played, but still was challenged by Ender, who had played the game about 5 times. :x

Pretty much, I just use Cervantes. Mostly because he's an undead pirate, and we all know what that means...
God > Undead Ninja Pirates > Undead Pirates > Undead Ninjas > Pirates > Ninjas.
According to differing beliefs in religion etc., that hierarchy may be modified slightly... but still, that makes Cervantes a badass.

My favorite move with him is the one where he disappears, reappears above j00r head and smashes it good.

You missed out disco! There were a couple of guys playing for quite awhile. They were the last two Xboxers, they left while I was packing up. One of the guys just rocked me! He said he's got everything unlocked in the game and that he plays it a lot. So next time you'll have to challenge him.

Disco and I play it on GameCube, so playin on Xbox might be hard for a while, although, not sure if Disco does have any exp on Xbox, but i sure dont, Im willing to learn though :)

It's basically the same game, minus Link, add Spawn, and beef up the graphics a ton. The controls can be mapped. So it shouldn't be any different.

I find his behavior to be reprehensible and demand that he engage in therapy to learn how to fit in with normal human beings and dead pirates immediately.

I have to say, I expected Cervantes to dominate the SC2 bracket, but as it turns out, Nightmare was pretty ownage.
Though, he did meet some stiff competition from Mitsurugi....
...or maybe that stiff competition was in Q3: Generations, where I kept getting shafted.
