Call of Duty

I just stumbled onto this site by chance... so what's the deal with Call of Duty, you guys going to have an event for it? Maybe just a FFA or TDM? I would definitely have to come if you guys did that...same applies to Medal of Honor Allied Assault/Soldier of Fortune 2. Also, I've read the competitions list, there doesn't seem to be just a straight up FFA/TDM event of any kind? Am I blind and can't find it or is that really the case? I would like to enter a straight up FFA event in one or more games, that aren't linked together like the pistols-xbox halo event.

Between events we have whatever you want to play time. While there aren't prizes we often have TDM and FFA in a bunch of games. I'm sure there are plenty of CoD people around here to play with. Am I right people?

Oh hell, I'll see if I can find the money to come play now :) Also, could somebody find it in their heart to make a list of all possible games that will be (or possibly) be played at this event? I need to know which games to bring if I come... thanks in advance

Yeah we've got some CoD fanboys...the two biggest of which can't make this next event unfortunately, but there are others. I just barely added the UT2k4 demo FFA tournament so we have that now.

But yeah, between tournies and everything you can play whatever you want and we've got 5 servers we can deploy so there's nothing lacking there. ;)

We're still getting a feel for what supplies the most fun, so come and join the party and give us your feedback! That's the only way we'll be the best LAN party in the world...uh, in Bellingham. ;)

I enjoy both CoD and SoF2. I'm no good at either games, but...er...you can draw smiley faces with the exit wounds you put in my back!

Anybody 'round these parts still play StarCraft and/or Counterstrike on the comp? That's about all my video card can handle right now. >_>

Well, actually, I can play Warcraft 3, but I need to put all the video stuff on the lowest possible settings for it to run smoothly.

(I have an 8 MB card, for those wondering. Horrible.)

Yeah... came with the computer and I haven't had the money to upgrade. It's not a bad computer, except for that HUGE hole.

1.53 Ghz
614 megs of RAM (I upgraded that part)
80 gig harddrive (just got a new one because my old 30 gig one is crapping out)

and stuff.

For not much $$ you can upgrade that video and play pretty much all the games we do. Seriously talk to your mom or something cause it'd be worth it. I'm talking less than $100 for a Really nice card and less than $50 for something good enough. Seriously.

I know video cards are relatively cheap, but we don't exactly have a lot of money to throw around. I'm hoping to get a job in May, and then I can throw all of my money into upgrading my comp a bit more to make a l337 gaming machine...
