Is there any way to find out where/who an e-mail addy belongs to ?
I reverse looked up an addy that hijacked my Comcast mail address it's
ge9004@msn.com
This goddamn farken thing has been forwarding my mail to itself for 2 days incl. all of the mail from these boards ...damn comcast needs better filters or something cuz my mail for the last 2 days has been stolen!!!         I've never even turned on my mail forwarding, much less sent it to a crappy msn mail addy...my first worry was it might pick up your addys through here.
anyone else ever had this happen?
BTW/ an updated norton scan yeilds no suspicious STD'sso she's not the dirty tramp I thought she was...

I dont know what the best action would be, but I would call up comcast and tell them your situation. Hopefully they can figure something out and either track this dude via ip or discontinue the forwarding.

Yeah I did that they wont help they just kept instructing me to reset my settings to "no" on having my mail forwarded, but every time I change it the bitch comes back it's like it's a virus or some kind of bug in their system that they won't or CAN'T acknowledge. Comcast = incopetent BASTARDS ! :spank:

And youve changed your password i assume? You look in your task list for any weird looking tasks? WTF I didnt know email hacking like this was common. Could it be one of your friends?

yeah i changed the password, but the weird addy still keeps showing up, its happening on their side so removing the weird address doesn't work it just shows up again...but I seem to be getting all my mail now...

Ask to talk to their advanced or high level tech support (ie someone who knows their shit) and explain exactly what's happening. Some times the first person you talk to in tech support doesn't know more than the basics. You might also try an extreamly secure password (ie a jumble of letters, numbers, and special charicters with mixed cases) if you havn't already (you would probably want to try this first). Also ask anyone in your familly who might know your password if they are doing this.
Oh, and does the option change back immediately or does it take some time to change back (and is it always the same amount of time or is it random)?

I think it may be time for revenge. Since this nosey person likes getting lots of email that doesnt belong to them go to some websites and when popups ask for your email simply put in ge9004@msn.com ROOFLES!!!

PWNAGE!
I found out the prob... it was a hijacked e-bay acct I haven't used in years...somehow they got my mail password and turned on the mail forwarding to their addy... luckily I noticed cuz they had sold a porche engine for approx $5000.00 to some unsuspecting guy. the buyer e-mailed the seller bout the details but I was able to intercept it and his phone # was in it so I warned him, now he wants to strangle the perp more than I do  any-way, I mailed e-bay's security bout it their going to call me about it tomorrow? I guess. funny thing is he used a real paypal acct to accept payment, that acct is most likely tied to a legit checking acct... and they will find out who he really is (hopefully) the dumbass.
I just hope they don't give me grief about the sellers fees, my little credit card they have on file can't handle that kind of action since it's only used for e-bay items it has a small limit... FYI just so y'all don't have to type it in...
I did change every acct password and user name on all of my CC accts...just in case...
Thank -you for participating in many acts of revenge It's nice to have comrades who are into the "biblical" sense of payback!
