Since I now own the game (on Xbox) we should keep track of some killer Crash Mode scores... I've topped $1.3 million on a couple of the courses already.

holy sh**! really? The highest I got (and it was in a vs crash - me vs dd bwuahahaha) was $629000 and that was with a 2x and 4x cash multiplier! :scrunch:

My actual best now is at one of the FAR EAST levels, and it's just over $1.7 million!

I went onto Xbox Live with the game, to see how I'd fair against some actual players - and in my first race, I finished 28 seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher. They were considering booting me from the server because they thought my connection was too weak (turns out it was another guy) - then, after I finished that first race so far ahead, one of the players said, "Yeah... we should have booted Stumanji."

Wholy crap!! Gamespot gave Burnout 3 a 9.5!!! Its the #2 top rated game on there entire website!! :faint: It was even rated better than UT2k4!!

How is that possible? You get $$$ for crashing your own car... did you (Ghrog) completely miss every car and still manage to not crash?

My best not-for-profit crash:
I hit the turbo, hit the 4x, completely blew past all the cars on the road, then attempted to pull a U-turn (which is quite impossible with the automatic boost on) and slammed into the guard rail... I think my total was somewhere arould $26,000.

I had an awesome Crash Mode WHIFF tonight:
I was on the level "Three Ways to Fly" (?), where three ramps are set up, two normal ramps, and one corkscrew... I hit the corkscrew, and launched myself over the major intersection, had too much air to lower myself in Impact Time to the 4X or the Crashbreaker, so I decided to at least get some cash and push myself in Impact Time to the 8 parked cars on the 4 lanes ahead... but I fell short.

Instead, I hit the ground and bounced OVER the parked cars completely missing every single car... ZERO cars touched on an otherwise spectacular crash (seriously, I was in the air for a LONG time). Fun stuff!
