Change Start button color?

How do I change the start button color WITHOUT using XP Styles? I've been playing around with Resource Hacker and I've changed the start icon and name. And deleted that help link. Now I want to change the color of the button to black. I think it will go much better with my color scheme. Oh yeah, what about text color on the start button?

Yeah, but try and get it to stay that way. I've screwed with the file, I have a black one, but I can't replace the original. It just won't stay that way. :confused:

I'll never restart my computer. Well I have to turn it off for a second to spray paint it pink. Ivery one knows you need to turn it off before you pain t the CPU and case and graphics selector and disk drives.

I had ME for a few months. Then Toshiba felt bad for screwing me over and gave me a free copy of XP.

I want to try to get me a copy of ME at the enxt partay! Its the BEST OS! Linux is incompatible and slow, and macs are gay looking. ME is the only OS for me, because its so prettyful!
