Yes, my fans work just fine, and my graphics card is a GeForce 4 Ti4600 128mb, I will be getting a new graphics card in a week or so, but would like to get my comp up and running again...I have swapped out a diff gpu and had the same problem, so I am at a loss for what is wrong.

Your plugging the monitor cable into the right port I imagine.... Some computers have 2 ports, one for the integrated, one for hte video.

I'm only saying that cause I did this once and I was like WTF, then again I lose things in my pockets, or when I'm holding them

Bad memory or a bad cpu could be responsible for this.

My bet would be either it's the CPU, or your video card isn't set properly.

well, my ram is fine, so it might be the cpu....
argeth, I don't have bling for this!!!

If the ram or CPU failed you would hear beep code from the motherboard.

Make sure you've pushed the AGP card in all the way, it should click *twice*

You try clearing the CMOS yet?

True, but if he's not getting any output at all, he should be getting some beeps regardless of the cause.

Remember not all mobos do the beep trouble shooting code thing.

If you look at the bottom of an AGP card you'll see the connections are on two rows. When the connections in the slots go over those there will be a very faint click. Gotta make sure it's in all the way, and lock the tab on the right.

Not true dude, a lot of budget motherboards that are new don't do that either.

My Asus A7N8X-E Delux does not have a tab to lock the AGP card. Many motherboards do not.
